I recently taught a class on relationship and had my students look at love. We looked at various "loves" beginning with that wonderful Easter phrase intoned so seriously, "For God so loved mankind ..that he gave his only begotten Son."

Wow, that’s a picture to look at psychically. Look at the energy behind that. and notice that it fits the notion of selfless love that the church has put forth since the beginning – the notion of give give give to where you give yourself away. And they call that healing. Everyone else before you makes you a good person.

Oh Yeah? Or does giving it all away make an empty shell wondering what the purpose of anything is? Void of meaning, unable to decipher feeling, and ultimately a trance medium completely out of body... and slave to the beings who do run the body.

So what is love and how does it manifest healing? Humanity has always been fascinated by love and often times confused by its eternal and physical qualities.

Shakespeare noted, "Love is not love which alters when it alteration finds." The modern paraphrase by the Immortal Buddy Holly "My loves bigger than a Cadillac, I try to show it but your drive me back – I say love that’s love will not fade away." Does this mean that love is unchanging, stuck and static in a world of change?

Our current LOVE choices are varied. We can take the Hallmark approach to love and say: "YOU are my everything, YOU are my dream come true" If your partner is your everything, you might want to look for your own life somewhere. Have you ever felt that someone else could complete you?

Salvation Love is another common theme well expressed in the Eagles "Take it Easy" "I wanna know if your sweet love is gonna save me" does that mean that he’s a helpless victim looking for salvation? How about you? Ever been there?

New Agers often talk of Unconditional Love – isn’t that an oxymoron? There is love or there is condition. Where’s the confusion? If I say, "I’ll love you if you……whatever" It isn’t love. It could be appreciation or thanks for doing something or a good trade, but it sure isn’t love."

So what would love and healing be in a psychic space?
Look at your heart, your throat and your forehead. Your heart, seat of your affinity for self. Your throat, seat of your ability to communicate and create at higher levels. And your forehead, where you see with clarity and vision. Love as a combination of your 4th, 5th and 6th chakras – affinity, communication and vision.

Notice there is no mention of feeling or emotion or power or control – those attributes of the 2nd and 3rd chakras are a way you can play your life out -- but lets not confuse lust and power with love. And let’s not confuse love with healing – though they relate.

Many people want to try to heal by going into sympathy with the person wanting a healing – the alleged "poor soul"and matching that poor soul energy saying – "I feel your pain." However, looked at clairvoyantly sympathy is a judgment energy of "you are in bad shape and I know the way to fix you." Have you ever done that? Stop and think - perhaps they created their situation to learn and by fixing them, you rob them of their experience. Sympathy simply takes you down to their level which means both of you are stuck in the stuff and neither heals. Nice picture.

In stark contrast, Jesus... saw the pain of people, but he never left his vibration of grace – of Universal Love - rather he kept his high vibration and had people match him... as there can be no illness, whether emotional, physical or mental at the Christ vibration. Jesus didn’t go around healing people as a trade. He let lepers and thieves and prostitutes remain lepers, thieves and prostitutes until they made the conscious choice to change. Saul the money-changer became Paul the Apostle when he chose to match the grace of Christ. As people matched, they were healed. Had He matched the afflicted, we would never have heard of that boy from Galilee.

Healing comes naturally out of raising your vibratory level. As you clear your body... as you activate and integrate your chakras – you heal.
