Dear
Wendy,
Yes,
you are a healer, but realize that you are only a conduit for the
Divine Source. All "healers" are conduits and facilitators,
the true healing happens between God/dess and the one who wishes healing,
this will take a lot of pressure off you knowing that you are only
the facilitator in this, there is no mystical power, voodoo hoodoo
or witchcraft. Being a natural healer, you've attain a level of heart-openness
to allow this energy to flow through you, the Divine energy of love.
You
have Chiron in your first house, healing is a major aspect of your
life's purpose here, healing from your own wounds and in turn helping
other's heal from theirs. Teaching and healing are the basis of your
life here now, and you are to be congratulated for following your
path! Saturn also lays in your First house, this can be a harsh aspect,
you may feel the world is against you, so many hardships to overcome,
so much discipline needed.... you probably felt very old as a child.
Your Sun is squared Saturn, this can be difficult to deal with, you
may feel people are being overly critical with you, but often you
are your own worst judge and critic.
Many
times we draw people to ourselves that mirror our own insecurity,
our own fear. These people who have attacked you and fear you are
only mirroring an aspect of yourself that you are to overcome. Believe
in the Divine nature of your work, in your connection to a higher
source that will guide you and embrace you in all you do. Knowing
that this "power" is not your own, will free you to hold
your head above any critics or insignificant voices of petty nay-sayer.
It will free you from the burden of being "placed on a pedestal"
for these "gifts." You have no one to answer to but the
Divine Source, your mission is one of love and healing, don't let
anyone else allow you to feel bitter or resentful, but rejoice in
the connection you have to Spirit!
Now,
I want to tell you that you would be wise in seeing the value of your
time and commitment to the healing arts. Although it may seem noble
to not ask for money or recognition in facilitating this healing,
you are shortchanging yourself and giving less credence to the energy
being exchanged. There is nothing wrong with accepting a proper exchange
of energy, whether it be money, services, homemade cookies or a back
rub for your services and time. The flow of energy needs to be balanced.
Giving is the same energy as receiving, but if you keep giving and
giving not asking for a return, you will deplete yourself. One of
the wisest things I heard from Shaolin Master Dr. Kam Yuen when I
was studying his energetic healing was: "The healing is free,
but my time is valuable." In other words, respect that the healing
energy is free and from a higher source, but give respect to the time
and energy you have put out to do this healing and expect or ask for
a proper exchange.
I
feel that you will soon join with others like you, and in that you
will find comfort and encouragement in your life's purpose. Seek out
the companionship and camaraderie of like-minded individuals, refuse
to allow the bitterness and resentment of a few small-minded individuals
to "take away your power." Yes, dear one, you are "special"
and thank the Divine Source for that! You are here to heal, to empower
and to teach.
Many
blessings on your journey!
