My name is Monica, Born in El Salvador on 12-18-XX & Barry Born in CA on 04-20-XX, Don't know the times.

I have known him since 1996. There was a time when I felt he loved me. I got pregnant & everything changed. He felt left out & he didn't want me to have the baby. I love him dearly but now I don't think he loves me. We have not been in a "relationship" per say although he has kept coming back to stay on weekends with the excuse to see the baby who is now 3 1/2.

I found a letter from his past girlfriend Linda who is supposedly married for the past 10 years & he wouldn't let me read it. He told me to make my own life, he doesn't want me in his. He is going to CA & she lives there. Does he still love her & thinks she loves him & will leave her husband for him? Or is going to come back to me from CA & they are just "friends" like he says?

Right now you need to look at you and your daughter. Barry didn't want the child. He used you. He has cheated on you. Whether he is going to be with Linda is irrelevant - if not her, then someone else.

You may "love" him -- but look at what love is for you -- it is a wish toward completion -- a completion that you can only have with you and the Power of Spirit. Love is reciprocal giving and getting, sharing, communicating and seeing a common life. With Barry there is communication - "GO away", but there is no common goal and no sharing or giving and getting.

I do not see him coming back to you. Linda is only his latest attempt at his version of love as "completion" by finding a new person to suck energy from before he moves on -- he will not find peace until he learns that love is not taking and commanding - but sharing and growing.
