Hello
and welcome to Soul2Soul Dear Tammie,
It's
a funny human nature that we strive to be the best at all we do....
even the intangible. We kick ourselves for not being "loving"
enough, or "spiritual" enough, yet spirituality only asks
us to believe and to release all such notions of ego. Enlightenment
is instantaneous, cannot be taught, cannot be bought and cannot
be forced into opening.... yet is as simple as a whisper... filling
you with God's love. If we chase it, it becomes like a feather in
the air, the more we grasp, the faster it floats out of our reach.
Become still, let the feather fall into your outstretched hand.
Becoming Spiritual is not so much an action rather than an opening
of your heart to the Divine, to seeing all beings as part of us
and us part of the Divine whole.
One of
my favorite passages in Pema Chödrön's book,
"Start Where You Are" is:
"Abandon
any hope of fruition"
"One of the most powerful teachings of the Buddhist tradition
is that as long as you are wishing for things to change, they
never will. As long as you're wanting yourself to get better,
you won't. As long as you have an orientation toward the future,
you can never just relax into what you already have or already
are."
You have
many gifts and a loving, generous heart... you also have the pride
of the Lion in your ascendant.... we share this noble yet prideful
aspect ;). This makes us push to be the best, push to succeed at
all we do, and gives us utter frustration when something seems unattainable.
This is the Lion of ego and pride. We want to help and heal others
yet will sometimes abandon our own wounds and needs in the process.
After all, how good it makes us feel to help another soul... we
put ourselves into the role of "healer" or "rescuer"
in a sort of codependent dance, when what we really need to do is
heal and rescue ourselves. You have been very hard on yourself,
you are an advanced soul as it is, but simply need to be reminded
that you are perfect as you are right now. You have all you need
within you, the Divine connection is there.... look within.
The tarot
is a useful focusing tool, no more, no less, all the answers are
within you. I would recommend any meditative practice.... for us
Leo's, traditional practice can be challenging... wanting something
to HAPPEN for us. Anything can become a meditative practice with
still mind and open heart. For me it began with a daily 2 mile walk
that progressed into the stillness of listening to my breath, the
rhythm of my footsteps and the whispering wind. Feel your body and
soul expand out, your atoms blend and merge with ALL THAT IS...
touch the ONENESS.... connect with your higher self and ask this
self what it is that you need right now.
Being
that you have become involved in Reiki, I would say your life has
probably become quite a ride. It would be good to practice regular
self-Reiki and nurture loving kindness with yourself. Becoming Reiki
attuned can sometimes turn our world upside down as we have to face
and clear a lot of "stuff" from this life and past lifes'.
You may find many people and instances that will challenge you to
unconditional love and forgiveness.... the greatest of these challenges
is in loving and forgiving ourselves. With each attunement comes
a new layer of challenges, deeper levels of self-reflection and
healing. It's like purging with fire. Relationships change and lessons
accelerate... its good to remember to keep grounded. With your Scorpio,
Pisces and Neptune influences in your chart, its very easy to want
to stay in the etheric world, remember that you are a spiritual
being in a human body, enjoy it! Find balance in body, mind and
spirit.
Accept
that you are on your spiritual path, find your inner Divine spark
with stillness, acceptance, love and forgiveness.
I hope
this has helped, thank you for allowing me to read for you dear
Tammy.
Blessings
of clarity, love and light,
Harusami
