Happy Springtime!

Here in Colorado, we're just getting over one of the snowiest, coldest Winters that I can remember...and that's a LOT of years to remember! But now the tiny, blue-violet periwinkle are poking their heads out, the mini daffodils are awakening from their snowy bed, and I'm enjoying the early morning chorus of hundreds of returning birds. Mr. Flicker has returned to his telephone pole, tap, tap, tapping and warbling out his yearly love song while the squirrels are embarrassing themselves in my old maple tree.

I love the coming of Spring, the joy and comedy of rebirth after the solemn quiet of Winter. Now that I'm no longer stuck in a tiny office cubicle, I'm blessed to see the turning of the seasons in a more daily, intimate way. I give thanks to the brutal Winter for allowing me to more fully enjoy the pleasures of Spring. Just as I now give thanks to the experiences in my life that caused pain or sadness, as now my joys and passions are more fully realized.

Speaking of which, I will be doing an interactive seminar on "Living Your Passion," on Sunday, March 18th at 3:00 pm at the Celebrations Metaphysical Fair at the Denver Merchandise Mart. Also, on Wednesday, March 14, from 9am - 4pm I'll be doing readings at The Women's Spirituality Festival at The Historic Tivoli Building of Metropolitan State College of Denver. Come and enjoy a day of workshops, seminars, readings and tons of cool stuff.

At the end of the month, I'm taking a much needed vacation of sorts...I'll be at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado for a retreat with the Sci-Fi Channel's Ghosthunters Jason Hawes, Grant Wilson and a bunch of other cool paranormal types. Am I excited? Sheeyah yeah! I've always wanted to check out the beautiful Stanley Hotel, and Ghosthunters is one of my favorite shows. I'm sure most of you know that the Stanley Hotel was Stephan King's inspiration for "The Shining," and considered one of the most haunted places in America. I hear there are still reservations available for a second retreat (the first sold out), you can get the info from the sponsor Darkness Radio.

Ahem...rumor has it that I may be available for readings at this event...I'll keep you posted.
