May has always been my favorite month of the year, the smell of lilacs, the longer days and the promise of June's roses makes me downright giddy sometimes. It also reminds me that this year 5 Mays have past since my Father took his life in May of 2001.
It amazes me, this long weird journey to HERE I've taken, and I'm so grateful for the peace and joy that once again embraces me, well, more often than not. For those who are still too close to their grief and pain, it can seem an alien concept to have gratitude for the suffering or to even believe that one day the sun will once again shine upon them. I'm often called upon to counsel those who've experience much loss and pain, I know that I would have been a pretty poor guide had I not traveled the path that is now before them. I am grateful for this now, and grateful for any peace or healing I can offer to another being. Life is good.
Ok, on to the May agenda! For those of you in the Denver area, I'll be doing readings and selling my treasures at the Athena Festival on Sunday, May 21 from 10 AM - 6 PM. This will take place at the Four Points Sheraton (former Marriott), Corner of I-25 and Hampden. Admission is $7 for a full day of workshops, seminars, vendors and yours truly, come say hi!

Jed expresses the nature of enlightenment with stark truth and gentle humor, while cutting through the b.s. I hope to soon carry his books at Soul2Soul Treasures,but until then you can get a taste of his wisedom with the article "The Bottom Line" in our Mind & Spirit section this month.
