First, let me mention to all of you in the Colorado region that I'll be bringing some of my Soul2Soul Treasures and doing readings at the Women's Spirituality Festival on Wednesday, March 15th at The Historic Tivoli Building on the campus of Metropolitan State College of Denver. The festival runs from 9 - 5PM, admission is free. Then on the weekend of March 17-19 you can find me doing readings at the Celebrations Metaphysical Fair, look for me at booth #54, please stop by and say "hi!"
After my last newsletter that told of the synchronicity and serendipitous events that were playing out in my life these past few months, I received a letter from a dear viewer asking what the difference was between synchronicity and serendipity and how she can get more of both in her life, I wanted to share my answer here... (thanks Susan!)
Synchronicity: the coincidental occurrence of events and especially psychic events (as similar thoughts in widely separated persons or a mental image of an unexpected event before it happens) that seem related but are not explained by conventional mechanisms of causality —used especially in the psychology of C. G. Jung
Serendipity: 1. the faculty or phenomenon of finding valuable or agreeable things not sought for.
I'd have to say that once you trust in your connection to Divine Source and the universe, you can see the magic of synchronicity and serendipity at work, there really are no "coincidences." When you can see and believe, you can better manifest the reality you desire.
The more gratitude you feel, the more things to be grateful for show up in your life! Sometimes it's easy to brush off a synchronistic event as mere coincidence, but really, it's God's way of getting your attention, sort of like saying "Hey! here's an important piece of the puzzle!" Or like "breadcrumbs" to find your way to where you need to be.
Now try this experiment, ask the Divine Source for guidance, ask for a sign that you are on the right path, ask for a special "symbol" that will have meaning for you, say...a sunflower, the Eiffel Tower, penguins... you name it. You'll start to see these symbols at important times, and it feels like a loving embrace when you do. It really is about living in conscious awareness of the world, and the messages we receive everyday. Most synchronicities and serendipities are not as blatant as they have been for me these past 5 months! I guess I just needed the hit in the head with a 2 x 4. But the truth is, God is in all things, it is ALL THAT IS. And if you haven't seen it yet, you MUST see the movie "What the Bleep Do We Know!?" You'll see quantum physics proving the existence of God and the power of thought and intention in creating our world.
Ok, I know in the last newsletter I mentioned another angel that I wanted to introduce to you all. One day last year I received an email from a regular visitor of Soul2Soul, she wanted to know if I would listen to some samples of her new CD. "Sure!" I said, I'm always interested in new music, but I was completely caught off-guard and blown-away by Ravenna Michalsen's enchanting vocals and the gorgeous songs inspired by Buddhist teaching on her debut CD "Bloom." I knew I HAD to share this talent with my visitors here, and I'm honored to be carrying this CD in Soul2Soul Treasures. Please give her a listen!

I'm so happy to announce a new feature on Soul2Soul, a monthly astrological forecast by one of my favorite astrologers, Sara Beth Shepard. I always make it a point to get my solar return readings from her every time my birthday comes around, her predictions are eerily accurate. One year she warned me of plumbing problems to watch for, lo and behold, that was the year I had to have my backyard dug up and my main sewer line replaced! The year I got my puppy Genji, she warned me to watch electrical circuits and appliances. Luckily, I had my electrician put circuit breakers in some of my outlets just before my "crazy, chew-monkey" bit through an appliance cord! So now I'm glad to announce Sara's Astrological Insights. Sara will soon be available for readings on Soul2Soul too!
In our Alternative Healing section, there is a great article by renowned author and shaman Sandra Ingerman on Soul Retrieval: How Shamans Heal Trauma. There is also information about the upcoming Just For The Health Of It! Conference taking place during the weekend of May 19-21 , 2006 in Boulder, Colorado. Along with Sandra Ingerman, Dr. Eric Pearl, young healer Adam, and others will be speaking and doing workshops. I am soooo excited about this event, hope to see you there!
