December 2006 Happy Holidays! Whew! I didn't realize how much work goes into being Santa! Ok, I'm not Santa, or a big elf, but I have been spending an amazing amount of time with "shop work," buying, listing, packaging, making sure everyone gets their treasures on time and in good order. Time has been flying and I regret that I haven't had much time to spend getting a proper newsletter together for a few months now! I now know that I must give more energy to manifesting more time, and the people to help in creating a more serene life. Something I've learned in manifesting work, is that once the stuff starts working, you can really get caught up in the details and not realize that while you love what your doing, it leaves little time for the other stuff you love to do...and then exhaustion hits. This is pretty much how many people deal with the holidays, I know I was one. Spending so much time trying to manifest a "perfect" holiday, gathering the "right" gifts, stomach and mind reeling with indecision, lists, insecurity, stress, ghosts of holidays past....whew! This is a good time to just stop. Stop and smell the cocoa so to speak. Remember that you are a "human being" and not a "human doing." Enjoy the lights, smells, tastes and most of all LOVE that fills this time of year. At this time of Winter Solstice, every religious and spiritual belief since the dawn of man found magic in the return of the Sun, the days once again growing longer, the gathering of clans and family in peace and goodwill. Now breathe, go have that cup of cocoa and count 5 things that you are grateful for today. Important News... Many of you know Patrisha Richardson as the TV show host of Mystical Insights, author of "Transforming Darkness Into Light", renowned metaphysician, healer, and for her wonderful Soul2Soul article on Subtle Bodies and Chakras. I know her as a sweet, spunky survivor. For all the good deeds, healing and help she has given to many, she is now in need of our help. Patrisha is very ill and in need of a liver transplant. She is currently on heavy medication and unable to do her work. I'm getting together a benefit raffle for Patrisha, and have thoughts on creating a fund for other lightworkers in dire need. I need your help with both. I plan to sell tickets for this raffle on eBay and hope to solicit more prizes from the community, if you have something to contribute, an item or a service, please email me before January 1, 2007. The money collected will go to the Metaphysical Research Society (MRS) a non-profit organization based here in Denver, they will pass the money on to help Patrisha sustain life, rent, food etc., and for the transplant operation. Your donations will be tax deductible.
